Global Brand Marketing Director
Joining a global marine technology that has a number of subsidiary brands under its ownership, the Global Brand Marketing Director will be joining during a time of growth to lead the global marketing and comms strategy for one of its major brands that specialises in high end electronic products for private and commercial marine customers.
The company sell in over 100 countries and have teams situated in Southampton, USA, EMEA and APAC as well as having distributors all over the world.
They have an ambitious growth plan for this specific brand over the next coming year and their aim is to grow the brand to make it number 3 in its market. Growing this brand is their number one priority this year.
There will be some global travel with the role (approx. once or twice a month) and you will be expected to attend some industry events that sometimes fall on weekends.
The company atmosphere is fast paced and challenging so they need someone with ambition and gravitas. Both B2B and B2C experience would be a plus as they market directly to consumers and drive B2B comms to distributors.

You will be pivotal for building, shaping and delivering the brand and responsibilities include:
- Developing the global marketing and communication strategy.
-Develop budget allocations and agree marketing plan implementation at a regional level.
-Manage the global promotional plan for the products.
-Develop the Global marketing materials and launch plans for products and services.
-Review regional media allocation, and efficiencies.
-Drive the global website & social media plans.
-Drive marketing through our key customers, channels and third parties.
-Create and track ROI’s for the brands marketing activities.
The ideal candidate will of graduate calibre with at least 7 years’ experience. You will be a well-rounded marketer with strong online and offline experience and plenty of digital media knowledge. Ideally they would like candidates from consumer electronics, marine or automotive with experience of working through dealer networks.
