Head of eCommerce – Retail Working for a leading UK retailer who have been in business for almost 65 years and grown significantly into a global operation, the Head of eCommerce will be working with an enterprising and innovative marketing team to lead all ecommerce initiatives and ensure continued growth. The ideal Head of eCommerce will come from a similar role, ideally from a retail background with at least 5 /10 years hands on experience. The successful Head of Ecommerce will lead a team digital specialist to drive qualified traffic to and conversions on, a suite of branded consumer facing websites. Translating brand objectives into effective digital marketing strategy across SEO, PPC, Email/CRM, Mobile and Display you will control overarching strategy for the brand. – Experience in CRM, digital and affiliate marketing. – An analytical eye, able to measure site performance and identify improvements. – Experience creating eCommerce strategies and leading digital development . -Creative flair, able to identify new opportunities to maximise consumer activity. – A proactive and innovative approach to idea generation and implementation. – A decisive and methodical way of thinking. – Digital Trading mentality a must with a real Commercially focussed mind. – Experience of managing and leading teams. – Demonstrable experience of generating new business and strong commercial relationships. – Excellent communication skills. – Strong relationship building ability and customer service/experience focus.
