Sales Manager City of London
>Jackson Rose are recruiting an ambitious Sales Manager to report to the Sales Director of one of the UK’s leading national contract caterers, based in the city of London, offering a salary of between £50k and £60k plus benefits (depending on experience). You will be responsible for supporting the sales team in driving new business opportunities within the City, West End and Docklands area and selling-in the concept of providing a superior service to the current competitive set.Successful candidates will have: * a degree (ideally within a relevant field) * minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar sales role * computer literacy (Word, Excel and, ideally, Power Point) * strong selling and negotiation skills * excellent people skills * leadership skills * outstanding communication & presentation skills * hunger, drive and ambition * solid financial skills (using pre-determined spreadsheets) * the willingness to take on board existing processes * the ability to generate ideas and implement them * the inclination to rise to the challenge and get involved with pr events.
Above all, you must be someone who understands the catering market and city mentality, with a demonstrable and proven track record in developing leads, managing clients in a pitch process, handling tender documents, creating/devising/presenting pitch proposals, making presentations and negotiating terms of business.
