Divisional Manager (North) North of England
Jackson Rose are recruiting on behalf of a worldwide media company, who is looking for a Divisional Manager (North) to report to their Head of Independent Retail and deliver a new acquisition sales target through a team of business development managers responsible for Independent & regional multiple accounts, trade organisations and distributors.
The Divisional Manager will take responsibility for: i) managing a field based, business development team, ii) overseeing account relationships, iii) delivery of divisional subscription, PTB and other KPIs, iv) regional, generic & account specific marketing plans, v) regional distributor & trade organisation relationships, vi) training and development programmes, vii) account development plans and programmes for all regional accounts, viii) working with BST team members to develop smaller account base and ix) developing a team spirit and work ethic.
Successful candidates must have: * a Bachelors degree * 3 years NAM experience of a major high street retailer (i.e. Dixons, Currys, JLP, Tesco etc.) * a proven track record in managing a sales account / team successfully * a strong understanding of sales processes and analytics * knowledge of a mass market consumer facing industry * strong communications skills – verbal and written, internal (management to board level) and external * an ability to meet the challenges of tight deadlines and prioritise workloads * confidence to lead change and thrive on it * strong influencing and negotiation skills * creativity running through their veins –to propose new and different solutions to existing problems * a focus on achieving results * the skills and experience (as above) hit the ground running to pick-up an existing high priority project.
Located in the North of England, basic salary circ. £60k + 15% bonus + pension, car and healthcare.
