REGIONAL FIELD MANAGER - Field Marketing Agency Bristol Based with SW Travel
THE CLIENT – REGIONAL FIELD MANAGER: Overall Job Purpose: To 'get, grow and keep' (recruit, develop and retain) a team of people, driving performance through them to deliver client objectives. To build relationships with The client customers at regional level and develop business plans to drive sales.. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: PEOPLE: To train, develop, motivate and inspire the team to deliver excellence in call, including development and implementation of personal development plans, coaching and training. To maintain team strength by effective recruitment, deploying resources to maximize overall effectiveness and maintaining staff turnover to agreed level. Use performance and development frameworks to establish benchmarks and agree action plans. To work with team in the field at least once in every period. Regularly review performance against objectives and pro-actively manage conflict and issues that may arise. Establish a dynamic team environment that encourages positive attitude, team interaction and creativity. Focus on continuous improvement and development of team by identifying and addressing any performance or conduct issues through the appropriate company policies and procedures. PROCESS:• Analyse performance data to identify opportunities and underlying trends to manage performance. Prepare options and recommendations whilst recognising and anticipating difficulties. Plan, organise and deliver effective communication via appropriate methods and media in line with business priorities. Manage and participate in ad hoc projects both Client specific and company-wide as opportunities arise. Gather industry knowledge and use learning to develop key relationships and promote Client and Agency profile within channel. CLIENT: Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of client's business, objectives, marketplace and competitors. Develop key relationships within the DIY/ electrical sector. Focus on the delivery and generation of accurate, comparable information across all business functions. FINANCIAL: Responsible for the Regional performance through understanding and utilisation of business and performance measures. Management and review of budgets, specifically: recruitment, retention and productivity of field operation. Consider financial impact of all decisions by using cost benefit analysis where appropriate. As appropriate and in conjunction, to be responsible for formulation, implementation and review of incentive/bonus/recognition schemes as a tool to help deliver client KRA's. GENERAL: To be responsible while at work, for ensuring that reasonable and appropriate care is taken for own health and safety and also for the health and safety of others in the team. To be responsible for any other task identified by the Line Manager as falling reasonably within the scope and range of the position. Provide a professional and consistent service to both internal and external Clients and Colleagues in line with the Agency / Client Company Quality Standards and Values.
