PR Manager – Luxury Homewares Retailer
Job Description
Our client, an international luxury retail company, based in Central London, is looking for a talented PR Manager to report into the Marketing Director. This is an exciting opportunity for a media savvy consultant, keen to manage the proactive and reactive stories and issues affecting the group and their wider audiences. You will be the main point of contact for all media enquires on a national, regional or broadcast basis and manage the Corporate Reputation of the organisation to other external audiences including government, customers and opinion formers. You will have excellent Retail and homewares experience.
Skills required for this post include:
Working knowledge of Retail Media in the UK both on and offline.
Experience of the development, management and execution of proactive media campaigns
Knowledge of current issues and legislation facing the organisation in question
Ideally some experience of acting as a media spokesperson on research / issues based topics
Ability to write materials for specific media audiences
Excellent inter-personal skills
Knowledge of PR techniques and mechanisms (from brief to execution)
Ability to manage outsourced PR consultancy
Proven track record in managing a small team.
