Marketing Manager Acton
Our client is a specialist retailer, founded in 2002 with an impressive record of growth year on year. They are specialists in their field and consider themselves to be at the top end of the market in terms of quality.
Due to an internal restructure an opportunity has arisen for a highly successful individual with ambition, energy, and business intelligence to join this successful company.
This is an ideal opportunity for a current Marketing manager to take the next step up to Marketing Director.
Key accountabilities will be: to have responsibility for all aspects of managing the business; lead, develop and inspire the management team; liaise with senior management to understand all necessary aspects and needs of the business and to ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, progress and achievements; lead the drive to improve productivity, turnover and profitability; achieve significant improvement in the current sales and marketing function; have the ability to introduce and develop good business systems and processes; chair company meetings including weekly sales and management meetings; set and monitor key performance indicators for each department; improve and maintain the business plan, setting out the strategy for growth and improved profitability and maintain awareness and knowledge of current developments in the industry.
You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of business and have a successful sales and marketing background plus have the ability to grow a business. You will have experience within the interior design, fashion, retail or related industry, knowledge of the use of technology and software within a business, and the ability to oversee and manage the marketing function, especially web based. This is a hands-on role and as such you must be prepared to get involved in the daily operations.
