Internal Communications Manager 25 days holiday + comprehensive benefits Location: London, Reading, Leatherhead We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Manager for a large Consulting client of ours based in London. The Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for the delivery of key UK and Ireland Internal Communication programmes ensuring they are delivered with clear, consistent and correctly targeted messages. This role will require working with key producers of internal communications including HR, other central services functions and communicators within different parts of the business to provide a calendar of activities, templates, and advice on positioning. This role acts as an Subject Matter Expert to the business and will provide a "centre of excellence" to these groups giving counsel, training and review on strategic programmes and individual communications. You will be responsible for owning and developing the central UK and Ireland Leadership e-newsletter and the UKI Connection website ensuring content is relevant and producing innovative ways to increase readership. You will also provide support for specific UK-wide internal communications programmes e.g. organisational changes, office moves, policy changes etc. The successful candidate must have a genuine passion for communications and be confident in their ability to create, deliver and drive new ideas across the business as their success in role will be dependent on it. Effectively direct programs to ensure core positioning messages are leveraged across the entire UKI organisation e.g. organisation changes / office moves • Provide full project management support and counsel for major UK and Ireland programmes, including audience segmentation, planning and drafting of communications. • Liaise with press team, global M&C team and other stakeholders. • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to develop strategic company-wide messages on strategic programs. Strategic Activities • Interpret the clients strategic direction and vision and modify or develop programs accordingly. • Establish and meet goals to strengthen the global brand • Ensure consistent execution of the clients brand visually and verbally in all communications. • Direct strategic counsel to employees, agencies and writers to ensure all communications and activities best reflect and consistently support the clients brand. • Serve as role model and mentor for team. • Budget Management responsibilities. Qualifications A bachelor's degree, university degree or equivalent is required for this role along with significant experience of marketing and/or communications In addition, the following skills and knowledge are required for this role: Strong business acumen and knowledge of our clients ( International Consulting client ) areas of business and overall business strategy • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Extensive understanding on corporate communication channels - new and existing. • Experience in campaign management - in a corporate environment. • Strong project management skills. • Ability to manage projects under tight deadlines • Thorough understanding and skills in strategic marketing and communications, especially in Internal Communications. • Ability to work with variety of stakeholders across the different parts of the clients business. • Negotiation, mediation and conflict management skills to resolve complex or disputed issues. • Leadership skills-supervision, mentoring and management skills. • Ability to develop and apply creative, workable solutions to project-related issues. • Ability to work autonomously and independently.
Salary: Upto £80K + package
