Retail Planning Manager Dubai
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an International Merchandising Manager / Retail Planning Manager for a highly successful retailer of International Brands.
The company are seeking someone with at least 7 / 8 years experience to take responsibility for the development and retail planning of budgets for specific brands. You will work closely with the supply chain to ensure merchandise is received in line with the purchase agreements. Work with the buyers and store operations personnel on budgets and inventory levels. Ensure the right processes are in place for the analysis of sales and for inventory management.
Drive mark down activity in liaison with the buying managers and commercial team.
Identify business opportunities and also risks to sales and margins and provide suggestions to potential problem areas
Maintain replenishment cycles of merchandise. Manage the training and development of a small team.
Educated to Degree level the International Merchandising Manager / Retail Planning Manager will need to have good commercial experience with a multiple retailer either within the fashion, Furniture, Home or lifestyle categories, with a preference for Home and Furniture experience. Excellent IT skills and a proven track record of successfully managing a planning and merchandising function. Any experience of RETEK / RETEC would be a distint advantage.
Experience of managing people is also required.
