International Fashion Buyer Singapore
This is a really exciting and unique opportunity to work for a very successful client of ours as an international fashion buyer based in Singapore. Our client are a well established business who has franchised some of the most successful high street fashion brands and continue to grow year in year out.
Based in Singapore you will operate from the brands head office and provide a key link between the brand and the franchisee. Our client is looking for someone who has already worked in a buying role with a major high street or online fashion brand. You will currently be at Buyer Level / Assistant Buyer level. We are seeking a strong communicator and negotiator who can influence at a senior level.
This is a very autonomous role and will require a savvy individual who will achieve the franchisee’s strategic and financial objects by delivering a successful buy for the brand through precise evaluation of the market and influencing the product selection.Although based in London the role will require travel to head office in the Middle East throughout the year.
Experience :
Relevant experience of working within tight and challenging deadlines.
Interpretation of material requirements and assessment of operational risk in a dynamic environment.
Communicating with suppliers at a senior level.
Supplier management and appraisal.
Risk assessment and contingency planning
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office (In particular Excel)
Familiar with Supply Chain and Materials management Processes.

Ability to organise and prioritize tasks
Qualifications
Member of CIPS
